Medical Grade Isolation Power Transformers (VPM Series)
Triad Magnetics’ VPM Series medical-grade isolation transformers are designed for critical applications where patient safety, low leakage, and EMI performance are essential. These toroidal power transformers incorporate electrostatic shielding and a magnetic flux band to minimize common-mode noise and stray magnetic fields in sensitive medical and industrial environments.
The VPM Series offers a wide range of standard configurations, enabling design engineers to quickly identify a suitable solution without requiring custom magnetics.

- High Isolation: 4,000 Vrms primary-to-secondary isolation
- Shielding: Electrostatic shield and flux band for reduced leakage current and EMI
- Low Stray Field: Toroidal construction minimizes magnetic radiation for sensitive equipment
- Mounting: Chassis mount with wire leads for robust installation
- Safety Approvals: UL Recognized component, certified to IEC / UL / CSA 60601-1 medical standards, including 2 MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) isolation
